overview – managing diaries & milestones in this training, you will learn how to manage diaries & milestones. this training includes the following exercises: exercise 1 – updating milestone site times exercise 2 – adding a daily diary exercise 3 – recording diary contract times for milestones a daily diary is used to record time charge information for available day and calendar day milestones (e.g., mowing cycles). milestones are typically only used on maintenance contracts for various cycles (e.g., mowing, litter removal, sweeping and tunnel cleaning). milestone site times will be set up by hq finance during contract activation and must be maintained by field staff throughout the life of the contract. note: a daily diary is typically only used on maintenance contracts for various cycles (e.g., mowing cycles, litter cycles, tunnel cleaning cycles). note: milestones are set up under site times. set up is completed by hq finance.
exercise 1 – updating milestone site times in this exercise, you will update a milestone site time. before a milestone record can be used, it must be activated. before any subsequent cycle can begin the actual completion (actl compl) date of the current cycle should be entered. this example begins from the aashtoware project™ home page.
